a rant

I’m not saying I’m a perfect person; I’m not by any means. Still, when I say I want to do well and that I want to live my life the right way I at least try to show that in my day-to-day actions.... So I don’t understand when people say they want to do well, do the right thing, yet their actions show completely opposite.
It seems these days that boys and girls alike are all just talk.
Why say you’re a shitty person and say you want to change yet go and continue to do shitty things?
Why say you want to make the world a better place when all you do is selfish things for yourself?
Why say you want to do good for others and then do absolutely nothing about it? Or worse…do the complete opposite?
Why say someone is important to you in your life and then your actions show otherwise?
It’s not enough to say you want to do the right thing, it has to show in your actions and the way you live life everyday. People need to sometimes stop and think about their choices before they make them. Think about your decision before you make it, instead of just thinking about yourself all the time, think about the people it will affect around you. The choices we make affects somebody; every single choice we make in life will affect someone and that needs to be realized. Whether you make the choice to do the right thing or the selfish choice to do the wrong thing, its going to affect someone in one way or another, even if you feel it won’t, it does.

How can we knowingly, in good conscience, commit an action when we know its going to affect and hurt a person we claim to care about?

How can you tell a person you love them and then go and do the complete opposite?
Why?
I am sick of seeing people around me get hurt by the ones that claim to care about them the most.
Why treat the ones that care about you the most the worst?

Why take people for granted?

Eventually you will have pushed them so far away there will be a point of no return, and when you realise and regret it, its going to be too late.

I know we hear this all the time…Actions speak louder than words... but it’s so true.
So many people go to church once a week and they feel that one hour in church is going to forgive them for all the wrong they’ve done in the past. Well it doesn’t!
Most of the time people engage in moral actions only because they fear the consequences. Instead, I wish people acted morally because they understood, that in doing so, they are helping people around them and not just themselves.

I just don't get it. Why say one thing and then act another way?
Why not just be honest? If you feel a certain way, don't just tell them, show them, if you don't feel that way, stop saying you do.

I am quite aware that this blog made no sense and was all over the place.
I'm just losing hope and faith in people these days.
